First hunt of the fall....

Not our best Hunter ever.... We put out five birds, but Rocky only found one and he flushed it too early. Nathan shot one but he flushed it himself. So, the owner of the Traxler's hunting lodge let us use two of his highly trained German short haired pointers. Thank goodness, they didn't do any better than Rocky. In fact, Rocky kind of outperformed them too but none of the dogs found any more of the birds -- very strange.
