This is what's left of that magical snowman we built at Christman time.

The Flame floats

Today was the fist time in over a decade the the "flame" canoe has
seen water, and it performed well. We canoed around Weavers Point,
and harassed Roger and crew as they were putting their docks in.

First view

The first sunrise over open water this year! Hard to believe ice has
been out for two weeks now. Nathan and I are going for a canoe ride
(if he ever wakes up!).

Ice Out

I'm sitting on our patio on Cozumel looking at the blue sky and ocean, having my traditional coffee while the rest of the family wakes, trying to get in the spirit of going home today....  So I go to the Pelican Lake web site, and wala, the ice is out!   Helps a little!   Actually, ice out was Friday April 2nd - last year was early May!   Maybe we can go diving on Pelican soon??
